April 2008 Tournament Results

(And Breakwater Work Party...)
Thank you to Tom Taurone (who showed up and worked without skiing), Steve Johnson (who organized the Class F tournament), Mark and Brandon Gray (who arrived early and stayed late to provide equipment), John Morton (spent quality time behind the wheel) and AJ Hubner (spent much of the day in the water).

These gentlemen put multiple hours of their weekend to bring the breakwater back into service (on a 90+ degree day). We cleaned, hacked, pulled and finally were able to reallign the breakwater back where it needed to be. The breakwater is a large and thankless task, but the seven of us managed to finish in several hours.

The breakwater will still need work. There are leaking barrels, missing collars, and two end barrels that need cleaning and welding. There will be a need for a more intensive party in the near future.

I wanted to pass along a significant thank you to the people listed for helping above and beyond. You all are the reason why we can continue to ski in Hidden Anchorage.
