2008 Grand Prix Series Final Standings

Dave Florence squeezed out a narrow victory over ski team President Ben Harwood to capture the perpetual trophy and lay claim to first place. Last year's champion Mark Gray held on for third place this year, with outgoing club VP Robin Hodges picking up fourth place following her second place finish in 2007. John Morton finished just behind Robin to take fifth place; it seems John is always near the top of the standings.

Also, special mention goes out to both Blaine Marsa and Ben for skiing in every event this year. This takes quite a bit of dedication and commitment to the series.

Congratulations go out to Dave. Rumor has it that we will host the Grand Prix Party in Dave's virtual backyard at his community clubhouse in Carmel Valley. Stay tuned for details and thanks for skiing with us in 2008.
