December 2005 Tournament Results
"Freezing Your Buoys Off"
The final tournament of the year finished with a flourish. Mild Santa Ana conditions left the course in impecable condition for much of the competition. The battle for the top spots went on well into the second round, with John Morton working on real-time scores throughout the day. Dean Cherry shook off his hangover and his off-the-dock 'zero' to come back and bang out his 32-off pass. Bob Raibert went the farthest down the rope with a final score of 3 at 35-off. Ben Harwood, trying to run his way up the final Grand Prix standings, made a strong 36/28-off opener in the second round to then go on and tie his PB. Jeff Hinze posted the best improvement of the day by running his 22-off pass for the first time this year in the saltwater.
